What is this privacy notice about?

This privacy notice explains how The ToWe project (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses and shares your personal data (information) and your rights in relation to this data. The notice relates to our processing of personal data of website visitors, enquirers, applicants and others (“you”, “your”) who visit, contact or submit information to the The ToWe project.

This privacy notice answers the following questions:

 

Kingston University is the data controller of your personal data and is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) and the UK Data Protection Act 2018. As such, we are listed on the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) register of fee payers.

 

 

We may update this privacy notice periodically and if we do we will publish this on our website.

 

What is the role of The ToWe project

This project is an ERASMUS +, Key Action 2, Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices – Strategic Partnerships for school education and brings together Higher Educational Institutes, Local Authority/Municipality and Early Years Settings and their Practitioners from 3 partner countries England, Norway and Spain. The Higher Educational Institute partners and Setting Partners will be using their expertise to develop a range of instruments/tools/strategies to be used by early year’s practitioners to improve their provision and practice supporting disadvantaged toddlers.

How do we collect your information?

Information provided by you

We do not collect any personal data provided by you on this website. However, you may use contact details on this website to send us information and this information will be processed in line with our research project data management plan.

 

Information that is collected automatically

In addition to personal information you may provide when you visit our website the following information is received and stored by our web servers:

  • details of your IP address;
  • browser type and operating system;
  • the web pages you visited.

This data is known as web server logs. We use this information strictly to analyse how our website is used by our visitors and we may archive this information in an anonymous form for statistical purposes.

We embed videos from our official YouTube channel using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Who will we share your information with?

We will not share information collected via cookies or information you send to us unless you agree to this. For example, you may send us information relating to our research and that information will be processed in line with our research data management plan.
